SUMMARY

Admiral Vandier visited the U.S. in February 2022 to talk about Strategic Interoperability Framework (SIF) with U.S. allies. This encounter led to numerous discussions and workshops about warfighting, C4I, interoperability, carrier strike groups, among other subjects, in the perspective of future deployments with U.S. Navy. The Admiral also mentions the great spectrum of collaborations with the U.S. since the 1990' and describes the role of the French Navy within NATO forces in the recent Russia-Ukraine crisis.
